On Sunday, April 23, fight "HIV One Step at a Time" and walk with AIDS Care Ocean State (ACOS) at the 2017 AIDS Walk for Life, starting and ending on the Rhode Island State House lawn. Registration opens at 10 a.m., the speaking program begins at noon, and the walk kicks off at 12:30. Immediately after the walk, there will be a celebration. Participants who join ACOS ’team will be assisting the largest HIV/AIDS agency in Rhode Island who is dedicated to providing quality housing, case management, medical and nursing care, and prevention to adults, families, adolescents and children who are affected by or at risk for HIV infection.

Every Walk Participant who signed up to walk with AIDS Care Ocean State and raises a minimum of $25 will receive a Drag Bingo Tee Shirt to wear the day of the walk to show your ACOS pride!

-Click the BIG green button that says Join Team.
-Fill out your contact information. Then hit next.
-If you have an existing account from previous years you don’t need to reenter your information, just do this: In the upper right hand corner, you will see two buttons. Click “Sign-In with Email” or “Sign-In Via Facebook.” Then enter your information. Click Next.
-Now you are on the “Join Team” Page. You should see a box with AIDS Care Ocean State, the money raised so far and how many members. Make sure ACOS is selected and that there is a check mark. Hit the “Next” Button.
-Fill out your profile and how much you’d like to raise. Hit next.
-You’ll then have the option to make the first donation.
-That’s it! Only thing left is to share via your email and social media to get the word out there!
